Kingdom Business Women
Lead with Purpose. Influence with Excellence. Impact with Faith.
Kingdom Business Women exists to equip Christian women to lead with wisdom, confidence, and biblical purpose while building meaningful relationships with other women who are making an impact in business, leadership, and their communities. Through leadership development, discipleship, authentic connection, and mutual encouragement, this initiative empowers women to flourish in their calling and influence every sphere God has entrusted to them.
Find Your Community. Grow Your Leadership. Multiply Your Impact.
Kingdom Business Women is one of the leadership initiatives of the Texas Christian Chamber of Commerce, bringing together women from across Texas who are committed to honoring God through their leadership, businesses, careers, and everyday influence. As part of TXCCC, this initiative helps activate our four organizational pillars.

Read Maria's Bio
Maria Watkins is a dynamic author, mentor, speaker, and founder of Empowered Legacy Ministries, devoted to helping individuals and families walk boldly in their God-given purpose. A graduate of Bible College with a mastery in Financial Stewardship, Maria also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering and an Associate’s degree in Design and Redesign. Her diverse background reflects a passion for excellence and lifelong learning, both academically and spiritually.
Before stepping fully into ministry, Maria spent some time training women to rebuild their health and confidence through faith-based fitness, combining Scripture and strength training to restore both body and soul. Her two greatest passions, fitness and Jesus, became a powerful tool to help women regain not only physical strength, but also spiritual wholeness through the Word of God.
As the author of “Hope Yet Again, Designed to Prosper”, “The Rising Son”, and “The Rising Jewel”, Maria has inspired readers everywhere to rise from adversity and embrace their divine identity. Her teachings, along with her Business Coaching-Consulting work through her Empowered Legacy Ministries, LLC, help bridge biblical wisdom with practical life application, empowering others to overcome stagnation, walk in discipline, scale their businesses, and live victoriously with Kingdom purpose.
Above all, Maria’s greatest joy is being the mother of two powerful sons who are growing and maturing into amazing young men of God. Bentley and Carson remain her biggest supporters and daily inspiration. Having completed Bible school and walked through many real-life lessons of faith, Maria often says she continues to attend “the School of the Kingdom”, where the Holy Spirit remains her greatest Teacher.
Maria’s life and message are a testament that when faith meets action, ordinary people can rise into extraordinary purpose.
